Naoki Nishida has taken on the role of CFO, Yosuke Watanabe steps in as Chief Data Officer (CDO), and Taisuke Shiratori has joined as Vice President of Engineering (VPoE). Meet the New Executives


Naoki Nishida / CFO


Background:

After graduating from Keio University, Naoki Nishida began his career at Mizuho Securities within the Investment Banking division, focusing on M&A and fundraising operations. He then joined KPMG FAS, where he was involved in advisory services across various domestic and international M&A projects. More recently, Naoki served as Executive Officer and Financial Planning Director at a Web3 startup, where he oversaw fundraising and token listing support. He joined Switch Media in 2025.
Commentary:

“Leveraging data from one of the largest TV viewing panels in Japan, we offer the advertising analysis SaaS 'TVAL,' which is widely used by major corporations. We are excited to launch the new solution 'Cross Media Insights' to optimize integrated marketing strategies. As CFO, my goal will be to establish and implement a finance strategy that supports our growth phase and prepares us for IPO, ensuring continuous enhancement of our corporate value.”

Yosuke Watanabe / CDO


Background:

Yosuke Watanabe obtained a PhD in Science from the University of Tokyo and has since engaged in particle and nuclear physics experiments at both the University of Tokyo and Tsukuba University. He served as a leader of the data analysis subgroup in a large-scale international experiment at CERN, contributing to diverse data analysis methods. Yosuke has also gained experience working in a foreign consulting company, focusing on the energy sector and data analysis strategies. He joined Switch Media in 2020.
Commentary:

“Given the rapidly changing media consumption habits of younger audiences, optimizing advertising placements based on data has become essential. Our unique second-by-second TV viewing behavior data and annually collected survey data are unparalleled strengths. As a data scientist, I will ensure we maximize the potential of our proprietary data and actively incorporate external data and advancements in AI to enhance the value of our services.”

Taisuke Shiratori / VPoE


Background:

Taisuke Shiratori graduated from Tokai University and started his career as a software developer at an independent SI company. He joined Fan Communications in 2007, taking on roles including Manager of Internet Advertising Systems Development and Head of Development. His subsequent roles involved leading development at a venture company for mobile order platforms and offline advertising search platforms. Taisuke joined Switch Media in 2024.

“In a landscape where television and digital media interactions are increasingly complex, there is a pressing need for fast and flexible service delivery. Our products must support advertisers’ decision-making, thereby enhancing overall industry efficiency.
