As the year draws to a close, the anticipation for the winter season brings forth the perfect opportunity to indulge in comforting warm beverages. Starting December 26, 2025, DEAN & DELUCA, managed by Welcome Co., Ltd., unveils its seasonal offerings:
'Gomasiruko' (Sesame Shiruko),
'Matcha Shiruko', and the ever-popular
'Yuzu Ginger Apple' drink. Available at café and select market locations, these drinks are designed to warm your heart and body during the cold winter months.
Celebrate the New Year with 'Shiruko'
This year's highlight is the
'Shiruko', a traditional sweet dish cherished during Japan's New Year celebrations. DEAN & DELUCA introduces this beloved dish in two luxurious flavors:
Gomasiruko and
Matcha Shiruko. The
Gomasiruko pays homage to
Chimahuo, a dessert popular in Hong Kong and Guangdong, featuring a delightful blend of rich black sesame, creamy peanuts, and the delicate sweetness of white bean paste combined with soy milk.
Gomasiruko is prepared using premium domestic black sesame to accentuate its unique aroma and flavor. With every sip, you will experience the alluring taste of rich black sesame, offering an indulgent sensory experience that enhances your winter moments.
On the other hand, the
Matcha Shiruko features carefully roasted first-flush tea from Kagoshima. The rich matcha flavor combines seamlessly with white bean paste and soy milk, creating a soothing balance of sweetness and gentle bitterness that elevates the drink to pure bliss.
Offering Comfort: 'Yuzu Ginger Apple'
Also making a return is the
'Yuzu Ginger Apple', a winter favorite that warms not just the body but also the soul. This delightful hot drink is created by simmering fresh, locally sourced apples, yuzu, and ginger in large pots within the café, ensuring a fragrant atmosphere filled with citrusy yuzu notes.
This year, in addition to whole yuzu, some will be sliced in half to release even more juice and flavor during preparation. The result is a hot drink that delivers a vibrant experience of sweet apples, tart yuzu, and zesty ginger, bringing warmth and comfort on even the coldest winter days.

Both products will be available from
December 26, 2025, until
February 11, 2026. They can be enjoyed at various market locations including Roppongi, Shinagawa, and Shinjuku, as well as at all café outlets.
