NYFW Enters a New Chapter

New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is renowned for its blend of creativity and commerce, and this year, it enters an exhilarating new phase with the collaboration between the House of Vanderbilt, the first official family office of the legendary Vanderbilt family, and Signet Fashion. This partnership aims to merge fashion, technology, and the rich legacy of American culture, all set to unfold at Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal on September 15.

Collaboration Details

The joint venture between the House of Vanderbilt and Signet Fashion was officially announced, showcasing a commitment to enhancing the NYFW platform by fostering opportunities across diverse sectors, including fashion, media, live events, commerce, and digital experiences.

Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, a seventh-generation descendant of the Vanderbilt legacy and Principal of the House of Vanderbilt, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. She stated, “New York Fashion Week has always been where creativity, ambition, culture, and commerce converge, and those ideas are woven into the Vanderbilt legacy.” With the launch taking place in Vanderbilt Hall, a landmark built by her family over a century ago, it is a fitting tribute to that enduring legacy.

The Event at Vanderbilt Hall

The launch event titled "Makers, Moguls, and Muses" will feature an impressive lineup of international designers, including Dustin Glickman of DSTN, Lorena Saravia, and Nabil Hayari of Hayari Paris. Approximately 300 attendees are expected, comprising fashion industry leaders, investors, buyers, media professionals, and VIP guests. The event will be hosted by renowned actor and Access Hollywood presenter Mario Lopez, promising a night of glamour and innovation.

Adding to the excitement, the show will be the debut of Vanderbilt Seewald Global Studio's groundbreaking Click-To-Buy technology alongside interactive AI holograms provided by AEXA, highlighting the fusion of tech and fashion. Notably, the event will also honor 25 members from the U.S. military, the FDNY, and NYPD, recognizing their contributions during America's 250th anniversary celebrations.

Bridging the Past with the Future

Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin is not only carrying forward the family legacy but also evolving it for contemporary audiences. As a winner of the 2025 Latin Fashion Awards Legacy Leadership Award, she is at the forefront of initiatives that blend business, culture, and fashion.
