Experience the Ultimate Coffee Pairing Festival in Sapporo
The eagerly anticipated
Coffee Pairing Festival 2026 is set to unfold from
September 23 to September 28 at the prestigious
Daimaru Sapporo. Organized by
CafeSnap, a unique media outlet dedicated to showcasing individualistic cafes, this year's festival promises an exceptional blend of specialty coffees and delectable sweets, uniting
31 shops for the ultimate tasting experience.
What to Expect at the Festival
This year marks the fifth iteration of the festival, building on its previous success in
2025 and previous years. With
12 shops making their Hokkaido debut and an exciting array of
13 specialty coffee roasters and
14 sweet shops, the festival is not to be missed!
Key Highlights of the Festival
The festival embraces the concept of
pairing, enhancing flavors between coffee and sweets to create memorable experiences. Here are some enticing pairings you can look forward to:
- - Peruvian Bourbon & Gesha Washed coffee from Fukusuke Coffee paired with Cannoli from Pasticceria Spuntino. The rich cheese flavors of the cannoli contrast beautifully with the deep notes of the coffee, leaving a citrusy finish that delights the palate.
- - Colombian Geisha Honey from Cinema Coffee Roasters matched with Pistachio and Wakayama Fruits from Wakayama Butter Sand focused on showcasing the complexity and beauty of flavor that coffee and sweets can bring out in each other.
