NSSL Appoints Kristina Harrison as Chief Growth Officer to Fuel North American Expansion Strategy

NSSL Appoints New Chief Growth Officer

National Shunt Service Ltd. (NSSL) has taken a significant step toward enhancing its growth strategy in North America by naming Kristina Harrison as the new Chief Growth Officer. This decision will be effective starting February 9, 2026, marking a pivotal moment for the company as it prepares for an ambitious expansion phase.

Harrison will report directly to Darren Fitzgerald, NSSL's Chief Commercial Officer, and will join the Senior Leadership Team. In her elevated role, she is tasked with leading NSSL’s growth initiatives across North America. Her focus will encompass driving commercial execution, fostering deep customer partnerships, and scaling new business development initiatives.

With over 25 years of experience in commercial leadership, Harrison brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new position. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Regional Sales at Novo Nordisk Canada, where she successfully led teams in surpassing their targets and expanding market presence significantly. Her extensive background in creating high-performing sales and marketing teams has consistently delivered strong, sustainable results in competitive markets.

Harrison possesses a strong blend of commercial insight and customer-centric strategy, which is particularly relevant in the current logistics landscape that is rapidly evolving. In a world where clients are increasingly demanding measurable outcomes, operational excellence, and innovation from their logistics partners, Harrison’s experience in data-driven decision-making and value-based sales will be crucial.

Darren Fitzgerald expressed his confidence in her capabilities, stating, "Kris is an outstanding commercial leader with a proven record of delivering results. Her strategic mindset, customer-first philosophy, and ability to energize teams make her an exceptional addition to our scaling efforts. She embodies the commercial drive and leadership discipline essential for our next growth phase."

Harrison's academic credentials are impressive; she holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University. Furthermore, she is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation and is currently completing her Advanced Team Coaching Certification (ACTC). Beyond her professional experience, she serves as a Board Director for Ashley Manor Housing Corporation, advocating for affordable housing in Ontario.

In a statement reflecting her excitement about her new role, Harrison said, "I am thrilled to join NSSL and collaborate with customers while working alongside a talented team. I’m inspired by the empowering culture at NSSL and look forward to delivering meaningful results that support growth not only for the business but also for our people and our customers."
