V10 Entertainment Launches Comprehensive User-Generated Content Library for Creative Industries

V10 Entertainment Unveils User-Generated Content Library

In a groundbreaking move for the creative industry, V10 Entertainment, known for its iconic production, Vin Di Bona Productions, and America's Funniest Home Videos (AFV), has announced the launch of an extensive user-generated content (UGC) library available for industry-wide licensing through Home Video Licensing (HVL). This library presents a new avenue for creators, brands, and agencies looking to source authentic and engaging content.

With a staggering collection of over 2.3 million clips accumulated over the past 35 years, HVL is set to position itself as a premier platform for publishers, content creators, advertising agencies, and television producers. The library offers materials ranging from lighthearted and relatable to more daring and edgy videos. In addition, more than 3,500 new clips are added every week, making it one of the most dynamic collections available. Included within the library are over 50,000 produced compilations, 1.5 million vertical videos, and 800,000 horizontal videos, with 1.7 million clips in 720p HD or higher resolution.

A Major Milestone

John Stevens, CEO of V10 Entertainment, expressed his excitement regarding this expansion: "This marks a significant milestone for V10 Entertainment. We're making our extensive UGC library accessible to creators, allowing them access to a vast range of exclusive content that has never been licensed before. HVL is now the industry's go-to destination for impactful and entertaining content."

The licensing capabilities enable creators to utilize these clips across a variety of platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snap, and Facebook, while employing V10 Entertainment's digital rights management team for smooth monetization. Notably, over 180,000 clips are fully cleared for television productions and commercial campaigns, offering seamless integration into branded content.

One notable use case of this content is from Daily Dose of Internet—one of the largest YouTube channels with 19.6 million subscribers. The channel recently featured several HVL clips in their video, Gravity is Broken Here, which garnered 3.5 million views within just two weeks.

A Hub for Creativity

Andrew Dignan, the Vice President of Licensing at HVL, emphasized the platform's fundamental role: "HVL isn't just a library; it's a hub for creativity. We're dedicated to providing our partners with the tools needed to enhance their projects and connect in meaningful ways with their audiences."

Shawn Kallet, Head of Revenue and Partnerships at V10, also expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, "We're thrilled to share this treasure trove of content with our industry partners. This storied UGC library has given joy and laughter to millions across generations. Now, through HVL, we're allowing brands and creators to harness that legacy and share it with new audiences. The creative possibilities are boundless, whether it's for broadcast, digital, or social media."

Diverse and Engaging Content

HVL's collection not only hosts a wealth of external content but also includes exclusive material from V10 Entertainment's various brands, encompassing World's Funniest, Americana Wild, Totally Exposed, Peachy, Kids Say, and All the Babies. This extensive variety offers engaging footage appealing to diverse audience segments, ensuring there's something for everyone.
