Forisk Consulting Announces Leadership Changes Amid Continued Growth and Innovation

Forisk Consulting Marks Growth with Leadership Updates

Forisk Consulting, a prominent name in forestry industry analytics, has been witnessing remarkable growth. The latest announcement celebrated key leadership changes, most notably the promotion of Amanda Lang to President and Chief Operating Officer. This role entrusts her with oversight responsibilities for client support, research initiatives, and overall business development.

CEO Brooks Mendell commented on Amanda's promotion, acknowledging her pivotal role in the company's expansion. Under her management, Forisk has successfully launched the North American Forest Industry Capacity Database. This online platform, which provides clients with real-time access to crucial mill capacity data, significantly enhances user engagement. Furthermore, Amanda has driven the growth of Forisk's Custom Market Forecasts, particularly for the southeastern and northwestern U.S. regions, an effort recognized by clients who view her as a trusted advisor in their capital investment decisions.

The scope of Forisk's offerings has grown impressively over the past two years, especially as the North American Mill Database program has expanded by over 130%. Since the beginning of 2025, demand for Custom Market Forecasts surged by 150%. This immense growth was supported by strategic marketing tactics led by Nick DiLuzio, the VP of Business Development who joined the team in 2024.

As a part of these advancements, Stephen Wright has been promoted to the role of Custom Market Forecast (CMF) Project Manager. Stephen’s journey with Forisk began as an analyst, and after serving as Product Manager for the Wood Fiber Review, his expertise was recognized through this upward step. Prior to Forisk, Stephen's background as a Sustainability Forester for Drax Biomass in Mississippi and Louisiana laid a solid foundation for his current responsibilities. Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Forestry from the University of Georgia, his educational background complements his professional experience.

Additionally, to further support the growing CMF program, Forisk has welcomed Chris King as the new Manager for the Wood Fiber Review. Chris comes with substantial experience in forestry analytics and technology, having served as an Analytics and Technology Solutions Manager for Steigerwaldt Land Services and as a Wood Sourcing Manager for Pinova in Brunswick, Georgia. He also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Forestry, this time from the University of Tennessee, making him well-suited for the new role.

Forisk's commitment to providing insightful analytics aligns with its mission of delivering accurate forecasts and detailed assessments of forest industry markets and timberland investments. As part of their research program, clients can subscribe to various offerings, including the Forisk Research Quarterly, the Forisk Wood Fiber Review, and the North American Forest Industry Capacity Database. Moreover, Forisk promotes collaborative learning through benchmarking studies related to forest operations and mill capacities and organizes educational workshops.
