New Picture Books to be Featured at YOMO Corner in Sanseido Bookstore

Exciting New Additions to YOMO Picture Book Corner

Sanseido Bookstore's unique initiative, "Tsunagaru Hondana" or "Connecting Bookshelves," will see an exciting refresh starting July 1, 2025, when three new picture books from YOMO will be featured. This partnership with Nikomo, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Koyo Publishing, operates an online picture book store that allows creators to submit their works.

About the YOMO Picture Book Corner

At Sanseido Bookstore's innovative "Tsunagaru Hondana," a selection of premier picture books and new releases from YOMO are displayed. This upcoming installment will introduce four delightful books: 'Cup Cat,' 'Ice Amusement Park,' 'Dragonfly Pencil,' and 'Mojage Dad.' Each of these titles brings unique stories and creativity, perfect for young readers and families. The YOMO Picture Book Award and various events will also be announced, so keep an eye out for those!

What is YOMO?

YOMO is a platform where anyone can create, showcase, sell, and purchase picture books. The service allows creators to post and sell their works for free, although there may be minimal charges depending on the workload involved. YOMO currently features over 1,600 works and is accepting submissions for the upcoming third YOMO Picture Book Award starting August 20!
