Featured Activities

Flower Bouquet Workshop

In the morning session, children will be guided by a professional flower designer to create their own carnation bouquets. This hands-on experience not only allows children to learn a new skill but also provides a special gift they can present to their mothers. Every participant will get to take their handmade bouquet home, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Strawberry Picking and Daifuku Making

After the flower workshop, the camp will shift focus to spring's delightful bounty. In the afternoon, students will engage in strawberry picking, a fun activity that enhances their connection with nature. Following the harvest, they'll use their freshly picked strawberries to make delicious strawberry daifuku (sweet rice cakes). This not only tantalizes their taste buds but also teaches them the value of transforming raw ingredients into delightful treats.

A Meaningful Experience

All of these activities will be conducted in the same facility, ensuring that ample time is devoted to each program. This approach provides children with an opportunity to reflect on their appreciation for their mothers while enjoying every moment of creativity and fun. The camp aims to instill in kids the importance of crafting gifts from the heart.

Schedule

  • - 7:30 AM: Depart from Shinjuku Station (by local train) to Kawama
  • - Morning: Carnation bouquet workshop
  • - Lunch: Midday meal provided
  • - Afternoon: Strawberry picking followed by daifuku-making and tasting
