Establishing a New Venture: The KEYNARU Project
In October 2025, LEDTOKYO Inc., located in Shibuya, Tokyo, announced the creation of the KEYNARU project team, comprising current students from the University of Tokyo. This internal venture aims to foster a culture of challenge within the company, offering young employees a platform for decision-making and innovation.
The primary focus of the KEYNARU initiative is to utilize the creativity and agility of students to deliver diverse opportunities to all young people in Japan. By introducing digital signage solutions tailored to educational settings, the project seeks to add new value to both the educational sector and the signage industry.
Overview of the KEYNARU Project
The KEYNARU initiative is centered on a digital signage business specifically designed for youth engagement. Here are some key features of the project:
1.
Free Installation of Digital Signage: The team plans to implement digital signage systems in public middle and high schools across Japan free of charge.
2.
Daily Content Distribution: Utilizing a uniquely developed system, the project will distribute various posters, original programming, and announcements tailored to each school daily.
With a goal to establish signage systems in 100 schools within the 2025 fiscal year, the KEYNARU project is set to make a significant impact on educational engagement.
A Vision for the Future
Daisuke Takahara, a third-year aerospace engineering student at the University of Tokyo and the representative of KEYNARU, expressed his gratitude towards LEDTOKYO's CEO, Naoki Suzuki, and all supporters who have made this endeavor possible. He stated, "We are thankful for the incredible environment provided to us to advance this project within LEDTOKYO. Despite transitioning to a company internal project, our vision remains unchanged: 'Delivering every possibility to you.'"
Takahara emphasized their commitment to creating environments that enable access to diverse information and opportunities without relying solely on existing systems. As college students, the members of the KEYNARU team aim to serve as a bridge between society and youth, working diligently to elevate education and contribute positively to the community.
