Citizens Bank of Edmond Celebrates the Return of Heard on Hurd
The delightful community event, Heard on Hurd, organized by Citizens Bank of Edmond, is making its grand return for its 13th season on
March 21 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This year, the festive atmosphere will dominate the corner of
Broadway and Hurd Street, transforming it into a lively hub of entertainment and excellent cuisine.
With over
70 food trucks, pop-up retail shops, and local nonprofits participating, this much-anticipated event promises to be bigger and better than ever. According to Jill Castilla, CEO and President of Citizens Bank of Edmond, “We are thrilled to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Citizens Bank, alongside the
250th Anniversary of America and the
100th Anniversary of Route 66. Our team has worked diligently to make this season our most exciting yet.”
The season will feature an impressive lineup of local musical talent. Attendees can enjoy performances starting with
Max Maddox Ross at 6:00 PM, followed by
Matt Moran & The Palominos at 7:20 PM, and finally concluding with
YZMN at 8:40 PM. This musical journey showcases the vibrant arts scene in Edmond, and it's a celebration that families should not miss.
Heard on Hurd was initiated by Citizens Bank with the goal of revitalizing downtown Edmond and promoting local talent while supporting small businesses. Over the past seasons, the event has successfully hosted dozens of food trucks, performing artists, and retail vendors, contributing to a whopping
$100 million in economic impact in the community. The numbers speak for themselves: last year alone, attendees enjoyed
82 unique food trucks,
36 performing artists, and
115 local retail vendors, consolidating Heard on Hurd’s status as a premier family-friendly event.
