Hard Rock International's Commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness
Hard Rock International has officially launched the 26th edition of its renowned PINKTOBER campaign, a global initiative designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. This year, Hard Rock has partnered with the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit brand to amplify the message and broaden the campaign's reach. The 2025 PINKTOBER campaign, taking place throughout October, coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and brings together powerful storytelling, charitable collaborations, and community engagement.
Helping Lives Through Action
As a leading global entertainment and hospitality brand, Hard Rock believes in the philosophy that 'All is One', which guides its commitment to various philanthropic efforts. According to Stephanie Piimauna, Senior Vice President of People and Inclusion at Hard Rock International, the PINKTOBER campaign is a vital aspect of their mission to enhance lives and support communities. In partnership with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Hard Rock aims to leverage a variety of platforms to support breast cancer research.
Exclusive Collection for A Cause
The campaign features a limited-edition retail collection designed by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models, including Roshumba Williams, Jasmine Sanders, and Nicole Williams-English. They are not just models but advocates whose personal experiences with breast cancer drive the campaign forward. The PINKTOBER collection includes pins, shirts, hoodies, hats, tumblers, and tote bags, each item intending to spark conversations about breast cancer awareness and encourage early detection.
"When I heard about this campaign, I felt a strong connection to it because of my personal experiences and those of my friends diagnosed with breast cancer," says Roshumba Williams.
Unity Mastercard and Hotel Support
To strengthen fundraising efforts, Hard Rock introduces the Unity™ by Hard Rock Mastercard®, where a portion of every transaction during October will contribute to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, aiming to raise up to $75,000.
Moreover, Hard Rock hotels are further amplifying the PINKTOBER spirit through various activities, including music-themed experiences and community events. They are offering guests the chance to participate in wellness initiatives or enjoy themed food and beverages while also contributing to the cause.
Events and Community Engagement
Throughout October, Hard Rock Cafes will host a variety of local initiatives, including themed dinners and live music performances aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer. Guests can enjoy evenings filled with entertainment while contributing to a worthy cause.
Hard Rock Casinos will also take part by introducing charitable activations that allow patrons to engage in fun activities while supporting breast cancer awareness and research.
Hard Rock Games and Bet
In addition to land-based endeavors, Hard Rock Games, including Jackpot Planet and Neverland Casino, feature initiatives where players can support the campaign with every game spin, providing exclusive PINKTOBER merchandise as rewards. Furthermore, for each new player that joins the Hard Rock Bet platform during October, a donation will be made to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®.
A Lasting Impact
Since its inception, PINKTOBER has successfully raised over $13 million for breast cancer research efforts. Hard Rock International continues to emphasize its commitment to enhancing lives through music and community-driven initiatives. This campaign not only spotlights the ongoing struggles faced by individuals impacted by breast cancer but also underscores the strength found in solidarity and collective action.
