K1 Speed to Host the 2026 E-World Championship

Next spring, the excitement of competitive karting will reach new heights when K1 Speed hosts the 2026 E-World Championship at its K1 Circuit in Winchester, California. This thrilling event is set to attract racers from K1 Speed locations across 30 states and nine countries, all vying for a share of an impressive $79,000 prize pool, the largest ever for a single event in the world of competitive karting.

The 2026 championship will determine the world champions in three divisions: junior, teen, and adult. Each division showcases the top talents from K1 Speed centers, with competitors having moved through various preliminary competitions to earn their spots at this prestigious event.

The Path to the E-World Championship

To qualify for the E-World Championship, drivers must first participate in the Challenge GP leagues held at K1 Speed centers. These leagues are tailored for juniors, teens, and adults, creating a structured environment where racers can hone their skills.

Over a full season, which lasts 12 months, the top three drivers from each age group at every center progress to their state championships. The winners from these state events then move on to the National Championships, held once again at K1 Circuit in Winchester. Top performers from the nationals secure their spots for the E-World Championship, where they will face off against skilled racers from countries including England, Italy, France, Mexico, Canada, China, South Korea, and Puerto Rico.
