Geek+ Achieves 35.5% Order Growth in 2026 Interim Results, Highlighting Subscription Services Surge

Geek+ Reports Surge in Orders and Subscription Services

In a recently released statement, Geek+ (stock code: 2590.HK), a leader in intelligent robotics, announced impressive interim results for the first half of 2026, which ended on June 30. The company reported a remarkable 35.5% increase in new orders, reaching RMB2.385 billion compared to the previous year. This surge not only stands out in the industry but also provides a strong boost for the company's full-year projections.

The growth can largely be attributed to groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and embodied intelligence, coupled with an aggressive global expansion strategy. Revenue also rose significantly, climbing 25.3% year-over-year to RMB1.284 billion, with gross margin improving to 35.8%. The adjusted net loss decreased by 32.1% to RMB60.6 million, and when considering the embodied intelligence research and development (R&D) investment of RMB44.5 million, the loss narrowed to a mere RMB16.1 million, putting the core business almost at break-even.

Subscription Services Transcending Traditional Sales Models

One of the most noteworthy developments from the report is the explosive growth in subscription-based services, which saw orders soar over 75% year-over-year to RMB156 million. Utilizing a vast installed base of approximately 1,000 end customers and 81,000 operational robots across the globe, Geek+ is shifting its customer interactions from one-off project deliveries to long-term operational services. This strategic pivot towards a high-margin, recurring revenue model not only ensures greater predictability in earnings but also augments customer loyalty, building a formidable competitive advantage.

Notably, subscription orders in the Americas skyrocketed by 455% year-over-year, showcasing a robust demand in mature international markets and paving the way for global replication of its successful model. This shift in focus towards recurring service revenue is expected to solidify Geek+ as a market leader in the years to come.

Diversified Business Matrix and Regional Strength

In addition to its advancements in subscription services, Geek+ showcased broad-based strength across its business matrix. For example, their Pallet-to-Person orders witnessed an impressive growth of over 200% year-over-year, cementing market leadership in that segment. Likewise, orders for manufacturing applications skyrocketed by over 600% year-on-year, indicating a successful transition from warehouse fulfillment to manufacturing logistics. The company also secured partnerships with various Fortune Global 500 firms to promote its embodied intelligence products, leveraging these extensive business networks for natural global expansion.

By the end of the first half of 2026, Geek+ achieved an overall gross profit of RMB460 million, which is up 27.8% from the previous year. Notably, over 75% of total revenue now derives from non-domestic markets, where the sales gross margin reached an impressive 46.2%. This performance underscores the high value-added competitiveness of Geek+'s products and services internationally.

As of this reporting, Geek+ is serving over 1,000 end customers across more than 40 countries, including over 85 Fortune Global 500 companies, boasting a staggering customer retention rate of 80%. Notably, the latest data from Interact Analysis indicates that Geek+ has maintained the number one global market share in the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) sector for seven consecutive years.

Future Outlook: Three Growth Engines

Looking ahead, Geek+ is strategically positioned to capitalize on three principal avenues of growth: AI-powered intelligent operations subscription services, full-scenario product innovation, and the commercialization of embodied intelligence. Recently, the company unveiled the all-new RoboShuttle Hyper climbing Tote-to-Person solution, designed for high-traffic micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs), with a targeted market estimated to reach USD 55.18 billion by 2030.

Furthermore, technological integration across product lines is expected to enhance economies of scale and create cross-selling advantages, effectively solidifying a foundation for sustained performance growth. The second growth trajectory, embodied intelligence, is anticipated to transition from mere order fulfillment to substantial scale contributions over the coming years, aiming for cumulative shipments exceeding 10,000 units within three years, expanding into warehousing, manufacturing, and retail.

With these significant advancements and strategic initiatives, Geek+ is on the path to not only reinforce its leadership in the intelligent robotics space but also drive sustainable growth in the future.
