Mirasol Club's General Manager Matt Lambert Recognized as 2025 Facility Manager of the Year

The Country Club at Mirasol is thrilled to announce that its General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Matt Lambert, has been named the 2025 Facility Manager of the Year by the Racquet Sports Professional Association (RSPA), Florida Division. This esteemed recognition honors facility leaders dedicated to promoting racquet sports and supporting professionals in the field.

Transformative Leadership in Racquet Sports

Under Matt's visionary leadership, Mirasol's racquet sports program has enjoyed remarkable growth, with facility usage surging by 21% and 33% in the last two years. Projections for 2025 indicate that instruction revenue will surpass $900,000, while merchandise sales are expected to hit $650,000, highlighting the vitality of the program. Lambert's commitment to not only advancing the program but also fostering a culture of mentorship for staff sets him apart.

Recognizing the importance of staff development, Lambert initiated a comprehensive leadership program aimed at equipping mid-level managers with essential skills in budgeting, leadership, and career growth. This initiative has cultivated a strong mentorship culture that transcends the club's boundaries, ensuring that both staff and membership thrive together.

Grateful for Collaborative Efforts

Upon receiving the award, Lambert expressed gratitude for the efforts of his team, specifically mentioning Mirasol's Director of Sports, Jeremy Barker, and Director of Racquet Sports, Kristine Mendivil. Their shared vision and dedication have been pivotal in establishing an exceptional racquet program that resonates with the club's active and engaged members.

A Vision for the Future

In addition to managing a committed team and an expanding racquet program that boasts 15 Har-Tru tennis courts and six newly added pickleball courts, Matt is steering the development of a state-of-the-art 18,000-square-foot indoor pickleball complex. This new facility will feature seven weather-proof regulation courts and is integral to the club's long-term strategy to enhance recreational offerings, assuring members year-round access to top-quality playing conditions.

Accomplishments Beyond Racquet Sports

Matt's impact on the Country Club extends well beyond racquet sports. He has orchestrated significant expansions, including the transformative $40 million development in 2016, which introduced The Esplanade wellness facility and the acclaimed fine dining venue, Solstice. His leadership within the hospitality industry has garnered numerous accolades, including the Club Executive of the Year award from the Club Managers Association of America in 2024, the James H.
