Rental of Nikken to Present at Mass-Trans Innovation Japan 2026

Rental of Nikken, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has announced its participation in the second installment of the Mass-Trans Innovation Japan exhibition, scheduled for May 27 through May 29, 2026. The event will take place at Intex Osaka, located in Osaka's Suminoe Ward.

After a four-year hiatus since the first exhibition, this year's theme remains consistent with the previous one: "Connecting People, Goods, and Communities." Rental of Nikken’s exhibit will center around the concept of "Connecting the Railway Industry through Product Development."

The company plans to feature its latest innovations at the exhibit, including the fully automatic railway vehicle, the 3t flat-body standard cab power gate — marking its first of its kind — which is expected to be a highlight for attendees. Additionally, they will showcase new products such as the Mega Step, an FRP elevating step designed for rail-road vehicles, and the Step Lock, a ladder fall prevention device. Other items on display will include lightweight mats for level crossings, lightweight slopes for railways, and lightweight covers for platform doors.

Jointly developed products will also be highlighted, including a heavy cargo transportation device in collaboration with JR West Electric System, a C-type foundation lifting device with OITETSU Industry, and a scattering prevention sheet developed with Meiko Construction Co. This comprehensive approach underlines the commitment of Rental of Nikken to address the challenges faced within the railway sector.
