Longsys to Showcase Innovative AI Storage Solutions at Electronica 2026

Longsys Introduces Cutting-Edge AI Storage Solutions at Electronica 2026

Longsys is all set to make waves at Electronica 2026, which is set to take place from November 10 to 13 in Munich, Germany. With the shift of Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the cloud to edge devices, Longsys will introduce an array of innovative storage solutions designed specifically to enhance AI functionalities on these devices. Under the banner of "Integrated Storage Empowering AI at the Edge," the company aims to showcase how its products can meet the increasing demands brought on by the evolving landscape of AI applications.

The move to edge AI is creating new challenges for storage systems. Applications in industrial and automotive sectors require storage solutions that not only offer high bandwidth but also undergo rigorous durability tests to function reliably in challenging environments and over a wide range of temperatures. As such, storage has transcended its traditional role as merely a data repository; it is now a crucial element in ensuring the reliable performance of AI executed directly on devices.

During the event, Longsys will unveil its first industrial-grade mSSD that operates efficiently across a wide temperature spectrum. Built using System-in-Package (SiP) technology, this innovative device integrates the controller, flash memory, and passive components into a single encapsulation. This design simplifies the manufacturing process by eliminating traditional Surface Mount Technology (SMT), thereby reducing material use and manufacturing requirements. The absence of solder joints, commonly seen in conventional PCB assembly, significantly decreases the risk of failure due to soldering issues. Coupled with its water and dust resistance, this product boasts industrial-grade reliability and can operate across a broad range of temperatures, marking a significant step in creating sustainable industrial applications.

But that's not all! Longsys will also introduce a comprehensive line-up of automotive and industrial-grade storage solutions, encompassing UFS, eMMC, LPDDR, and SPI NAND flash memory technologies. Moreover, Lexar, Longsys's premium consumer storage brand, will showcase high-performance USB drives and memory cards designed specifically for dashcams, along with industrial-grade SD and microSD solutions. These offerings are tailored for various applications including smart cabins, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), industrial control systems, and even railway transportation.

Additionally, live demonstrations will feature exciting new formats and solutions such as AISSD, AIDIMM, and HLCache UFS, which are crafted to enhance data access, model loading, and caching acceleration for on-device AI. These innovations play a pivotal role in streamlining system designs, improving inference response times, and enhancing overall system stability.

Longsys is committed to advancing integrated storage to empower the future of AI. Their continuous innovation ranges from industrial-grade innovations to a complete suite of storage solutions catering to automotive and industrial needs.

For anyone interested in exploring the future of AI storage technology, Longsys invites attendees to visit their booth, C2.459, located in Hall C2 at Messe München. This is an opportunity to connect with industry partners and discover how integrated storage can transform the AI landscape.
