giftee for Business Hits Record High
The Tokyo-based company giftee, known for its e-gift platform, has announced that the implementation cases for its corporate and municipal service, "giftee for Business," have topped 81,000 as of March 31, 2026. This milestone was revealed during the disclosure of their first-quarter financial results for the fiscal year ending in December 2026.
The service, which began in 2016, has expanded its offerings from BtoC to include BtoE, BtoB, and GtoC, adapting to various corporate needs, such as incentives for surveys, customer attraction campaigns, and promotional marketing strategies across industries. The increased demand for digital gifts has significantly contributed to the fiscal growth.
The leading products within this service, the "giftee Box®" and "erabekeru Pay®," allow recipients to choose their gifts, ensuring high satisfaction levels among diverse campaign participants, regardless of demographics like location, gender, or age. In the first quarter of 2026, the company also introduced the "Performance Media Network (PMN)," a new promotion platform focusing on manufacturer marketing initiatives, developed in collaboration with V Point Marketing.
Diversifying Offerings
In addition to BtoC solutions, giftee has been promoting its "Corporate Gift" section, particularly launched in October 2022, which aims to facilitate companies in expressing gratitude to clients, partners, and employees. This service is increasingly being utilized for seasonal greetings such as summer and year-end gifts, as well as enhancing engagement strategies concerning services.
By the end of May 2026, giftee reported providing over 10,000 solutions geared towards enhancing employee relations, incorporating welcome gifts for new hires, birthday celebrations, and long-service awards into the corporate gifting context. Furthermore, the company has broadened its gift content scope, now including quality products, experiences, and custom-branded corporate merchandise known as "Swag®."
Notably, in this first quarter, giftee entered a partnership with ROBOT PAYMENT, implementing Corporate Gift services for their 25th-anniversary initiatives, which included a specially curated catalogue featuring original apparel and brewery products. Additionally, Corporate Gift services were adopted by Infcurion to mark its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s growth market, showcasing a professional gift experience designed to convey management's gratitude.
Addressing Community Needs
The GtoC segment since December 2022 has seen local governments choosing giftee for initiatives related to economic relief due to high living costs, healthcare support, and community initiatives. The versatility of the "giftee Box®" facilitates a broad range of offerings available both in stores and online, making it adaptable for specific thematic community supports.
In the first quarter, seven municipalities, including cities from Fukushima to Akita and Hokkaido, incorporated giftee's services for various resident support programs leveraging new state support funds designed for managing rising costs.
Future Outlook
As giftee for Business continues to grow, the company aims to enhance service development and collaboration in order to address a multitude of corporate needs. By expanding its offerings, giftee is keen on supporting innovative, memorable gifting experiences that resonate with both enterprises and local governments, ensuring it stays attuned to changing market demands.
By focusing on enriching the corporate gift-giving landscape, giftee's sustainable growth trajectory appears promising for the future, bolstered by an impressive start to 2026.
