SINEXCEL Unveils StellaON 1250K/1575K for Advanced Energy Storage Solutions

SINEXCEL Enhances Energy Storage with StellaON 1250K/1575K

In a significant advancement for energy storage technology, SINEXCEL (300693.SZ) introduced its latest product, the StellaON 1250K/1575K PCS, at the Intersolar Europe 2026 exhibition. This new system is designed to address growing European demands for environmental durability, grid stability, and lifecycle economics, providing a comprehensive solution through its innovative adaptability features.

The StellaON system embodies the concept of versatility, ensuring reliable performance across harsh environments and complex networks. Utilizing Infineon’s EconoDUAL™3 modules, the system delivers consistent and uncompromised performance at temperatures up to 55°C—exceeding the industry average by 10°C—thus eliminating a 15-20% decrease in performance while saving on up-sizing costs by up to 20%.

Robust Performance in Challenging Conditions

Engineered with an IP65 rating and C5 corrosion-resistant protection, the StellaON 1250K/1575K excels even in extreme climatic conditions, maintaining a noise level under 65 dB, which complies with stringent European urban regulations. As European grid standards evolve, the StellaON provides flexible grid forming capabilities in PQ, VF, VSG, and SVG modes, allowing for a 1.5x overload for 60 seconds, surpassing the industry standard of 1.2x. This system is capable of delivering grid-forming power across gigawatts, offering restart capabilities after outages, and supporting parallel operations of four AC/DC units, enhancing scalability and network resilience for extensive deployments.

Improving Lifecycle Efficiency

The true utility value of the StellaON system has been validated over time, achieving a maximum operational efficiency of 98.5% under full load. Its modular configurations can be adjusted to operate from 1 to 8 hours and scale smoothly from 20-foot MV stations with 2.5 MW to 40-foot stations with 12.5 MW capacity. The innovative self-cleaning design further reduces operational and maintenance costs by 15% over its lifespan. Its average time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 300,000 hours, ensuring a 99% operational uptime, with key component replacements taking less than one hour and a complete PCS replacement achievable within two hours.

Global Deployments Post-Launch

Following a successful connection to the grid in Vietnam in March 2026, where the StellaON system showcased reliable operation under extreme heat and humidity, the company secured orders exceeding 500 MW just in the first half of 2026. Currently, over 15 projects are being developed across Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa. The system complies with energy regulations in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Romania, with certifications for Spain and the USA expected soon.
