SiriusXM Welcomes Eve Konstan as New Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer

Sirius XM Holdings Inc., a leader in audio entertainment in North America, recently announced the appointment of Eve Konstan as its new Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Secretary. This transition will take effect on February 9, 2026, as she replaces Richard N. Baer, who is retiring.

Eve Konstan brings a wealth of expertise in media, entertainment, and communications law to her new role. Known for her strategic advisory skills, she has held significant legal positions at major corporations throughout her career. Most recently, Konstan served as General Counsel at Spotify Technology S.A., where she oversaw various legal matters, including content licensing, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and litigation.

Before her tenure at Spotify beginning in 2020, Konstan built an impressive 20-year career at WarnerMedia Entertainment and HBO, culminating in her roles as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Her responsibilities included managing HBO's legal affairs globally, which encompassed production clearance of original programming, global distribution agreements, and intellectual property management.
