In a remarkable display of growth, GAC has achieved a staggering
133.9% increase in its export volume for the first four months of 2026. The company's push towards international markets has been accelerated by a robust
86% year-on-year growth in overseas sales during the first quarter. Between January and April, GAC successfully exported
70,474 vehicles, marking a decisive step in its ambition to reach an annual target of
250,000 units, with aspirations set on achieving
300,000 by the end of the year.
The AION UT: Leading the Charge
The flagship model, the
AION UT, has established itself as a dominant player in several regions. This electric hatchback not only ranks first in sales in places like
Hong Kong SAR,
Colombia,
Uruguay, and
Singapore, but also marked significant sales numbers in Indonesia and Thailand. Australia has shown a promising response, with over
600 orders within just the first month of pre-sales.
Regional Growth and Milestones
GAC’s expansion strategy has yielded remarkable results in various global markets. At the
Bangkok International Motor Show, the company garnered
6,287 orders, and sales showed unprecedented growth in Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, and Indonesia, surging by
503%,
900%, and
338%, respectively. In Europe, GAC made a significant entry into the market with the AION UT launching in
Milan and starting localized production in
Austria in collaboration with Magna—signifying a serious commitment to the European market.
Breakthrough Performance in the Americas
Across the Americas, GAC has witnessed phenomenal growth, with sales in Uruguay and Colombia experiencing increases of
775% and

87 countries, reinforced its international sales network and demonstrated GAC's commitment to forging strong global partnerships.

Auto China, GAC unveiled its
2030 Strategic Plan, positioning itself to penetrate
120 countries and establish over
2,000 overseas touchpoints. The company seeks to leverage its comprehensive product range across its brands, including

one million annual overseas sales.
