Zenken's Caregiver Training Initiative in Ibaraki
Zenken Co., Ltd., headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the "2026 Caregiver Skill Trainee National Examination Support Project" by Ibaraki Prefecture. This marks the second consecutive year that Zenken has taken on this significant initiative, which is designed to bolster the integration of foreign caregivers into the workforce while aiding them in passing the necessary national certification exams.
Project Overview
The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure the early settlement of foreign caregiver personnel working in Ibaraki and to provide them with comprehensive support for passing the Certified Care Worker National Examination. Zenken will offer three tailored courses that cater to the varying skill levels of participants, all conducted in a fully online format to maximize accessibility. Enrollment for these courses will commence on April 15, 2026.
Course Features
Zenken has structured the program to include three distinct courses that provide a progressive learning framework, allowing participants to engage according to their employment duration and Japanese language proficiency. The courses are as follows:
1.
Basic Course (3 months x 3 terms): Designed for individuals with less than one year of residency in Japan. This foundational course aims to equip newcomers with essential skills and knowledge.
2.
Skill Development Course (10 months): Aimed at those who plan to take the Certified Care Worker National Examination post its 40th iteration. This course focuses on imparting specialized knowledge and practical Japanese that can be applied in care environments.
3.
National Examination Preparation Course (8 months): Targeted at those planning to sit for the 39th Certified Care Worker National Examination. This course offers tailored assistance to first-time examinees, those aiming for partial success in subject completions, and participants seeking extensions on their specific skills residency visa.
This strategic approach ensures that various needs of foreign caregivers are effectively met, contributing to a more stable and efficient workforce in Ibaraki's caregiving sector.
Zenken's Commitment to Foreign Caregivers
Through this training initiative, Zenken aims to foster an environment in which foreign caregivers can work and thrive as integral members of the local community. The company believes in enhancing workforce retention and improving quality within the caregiving field.
Zenken has established a robust framework for supporting foreign caregivers, extending services from educational training through to certification acquisition. The organization has previously undertaken various training programs for numerous caregiving facilities and local governments throughout Japan. Building upon these experiences, Zenken vows to continue delivering high-quality training for this forthcoming year.
