The highly anticipated "Umakamon! Kyushu Fair" is set to launch on May 2nd at Kitchen Origin and Origin Bento, both operated by Origin Toshu Co., Ltd. This event promises a gastronomic journey, showcasing distinct flavors and traditional dishes from the Kyushu region.
This special event kicks off at 10 AM, offering an array of limited-time menus that incorporate local specialties and carefully selected ingredients from across Kyushu. One highlight is the "Eggplant Stir-Fry with Spicy Miso - Using Hatcho Miso," made with Kumamoto-grown eggplants. These eggplants are cut and fried to achieve a tender texture, perfectly pairing with the rich miso sauce, which contains a notable 19.98% Hatcho miso.
Alongside this dish, there will be a selection of regional delicacies including:
- - Tartar Chicken Nanban from Miyazaki Prefecture, featuring house-made tartar sauce.
- - Mentaiko Ring Croquettes using Kanefuku's seasoned cod roe from Fukuoka.
