Discover New Career Opportunities in Kyushu with Online Job Fair on June 4, 2026

Special Online Job Fair for Kyushu Students

On June 4, 2026, One Career and TNC will host a unique online job fair targeting students in the Kyushu region. Titled "Kyushu Online Job Fair - From Local Enterprises to National Corporations! Discover New Opportunities to Broaden Your Horizons!" This event will be streamed on One Career's YouTube channel, providing an accessible platform for students to engage with potential employers.

Background of the Event

In an era where career options have diversified, with many choosing freelance work or remote roles, the question of where to work becomes increasingly important for students. Many grapple with the dilemma of whether to work locally or explore opportunities elsewhere, which can grow more pressing as they progress in their job search.

As internship schedules approach, students find themselves confronted with this uncertainty. The summer break, often focused on internships and corporate research, is an ideal time to ponder the question of job locations. In collaboration with the local broadcasting station TNC, One Career aims to provide students in Kyushu a platform to contemplate their future careers during the pre-summer period.

This event marks the third installment of this initiative, bringing together companies from both local and national levels to offer valuable insights and opportunities for students to make informed career decisions.

Highlights of the "Kyushu Online Job Fair"

The event centers on addressing the crucial decision of whether to stay in Kyushu or move elsewhere for work. It aims to arm students with the tools to make informed career choices, establishing clear criteria to avoid future regrets.

Point 1: A Broadened Perspective with 14 Participating Companies

A total of 14 companies from various industries will showcase their operations, workplace cultures, and the opportunities they offer. Participants will be able to explore diverse fields such as manufacturing, IT, media, consulting, and finance, thereby expanding their career choices. This interaction can lead to realizations like, "I didn't know such exciting projects existed here!" or "It's amazing how this stable local firm also allows for challenging opportunities!"

Additionally, comparing workplace environments simultaneously between local and national companies can help students clarify their ideal career paths.

Point 2: Programs That Offer Insights for Career Decisions

With the expertise of One Career, which has supported over a million job seekers, and TNC, which possesses deep knowledge of Kyushu, the event will feature unique discussion topics. Students will gain relatable insights into what factors guided seniors in their job choices and the specifics of their roles post-hiring, providing essential information for their job hunting endeavors.

  • - Concise Company Presentations: Each company will have three minutes to introduce themselves, allowing participants to efficiently gather information and create a foundation for comparisons.
  • - Insights from Young Employees: A segment will showcase interviews with young employees about their experiences at their companies, including how they found their jobs and how they spend their weekends. This gives students a more tangible understanding of life and work after joining these firms.
  • - Looking Ahead to 2030: Participants will hear about the long-term visions of companies, paving the way for students to find their own career definitions in the context of local opportunities.

Point 3: Easy Participation via YouTube Live Stream

Given that the event will be streamed on YouTube, attendees can connect without the need for activating their cameras or microphones, allowing for flexible entry and exit. This open approach is welcoming to anyone interested in working in Kyushu, whether currently living there or not.
