Kubota Extends Its Sponsorship with Trackhouse Racing Until 2027 NASCAR Season
Kubota and Trackhouse Racing Strengthen Their Partnership until 2027
Kubota Tractor Corporation has officially announced an extension of its sponsorship with Trackhouse Racing, reinforcing its established presence in the world of NASCAR. This partnership will continue to showcase Kubota’s distintive black and orange paint scheme on Trackhouse's Chevrolet cars through the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season.
This collaboration is particularly significant for Ross Chastain, the driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet, who expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership: "It's awesome to continue an authentic partnership with a world-renowned brand like Kubota. Their support for both Trackhouse Racing and the agricultural community resonates deeply with me as an eighth-generation watermelon farmer. I am eager to bring them back to victory lane this season."
In the 2024 season, Chastain drove the No. 1 Kubota Chevrolet in six races, producing impressive results that included three top-five finishes and five finishes in the top ten, highlighted by a victory at Kansas Speedway. As the racing calendar moves into 2025, the Kubota livery will prominently feature in the following races: Phoenix Raceway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, Sonoma Raceway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and Kansas Speedway again.
Teammate Daniel Suárez from Monterrey, Mexico, will also don the Kubota colors at Texas Motor Speedway on May 4, using the same livery that helped him to a fifth-place finish in 2024. "Having a brand like Kubota supporting our race team is fantastic," Suárez said. "Their commitment highlights the strong bond that's being built between our team and their company."
Additionally, Kubota's involvement will extend to sponsorship of Shane van Gisbergen, who will drive JR Motorsports' No. 9 Chevrolet in the Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen in New York on August 9. Van Gisbergen, a rookie NASCAR driver, expressed his excitement, stating, "As an outdoorsy guy, being associated with Kubota is a perfect fit, and I look forward to competing in the Kubota car at Watkins Glen." The partnership aligns perfectly as he aims to enhance his experience in the racing world.
In a commendable display of corporate social responsibility, Kubota and Trackhouse Racing are ramping up their support for farmer veterans. For every race where Kubota serves as the primary sponsor of Chastain’s vehicle, a $10,000 donation will be made to the Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) upon achieving a top-10 finish. This initiative reflects Kubota's ongoing commitment to assisting military veterans transitioning into agriculture, a partnership that has accrued over $1 million in contributions since its inception in 2015.
Todd Stucke, President of Kubota Tractor Corporation, emphasized the importance of the partnership: "After incredible seasons with Ross, Daniel, and the Trackhouse team, we’re excited to keep the momentum going through the 2027 season. Seeing Ross win in the Kubota car and Daniel’s performance at Texas Motor Speedway were major victories for everyone in Kubota Country. With Shane joining the team, we anticipate even more exciting moments ahead."
