Exciting Tokyo Transit Adventure for Kids
This summer, Tokyo's transportation bureau is offering a special opportunity for elementary school students ages 6 to 12. The event, titled
"Tokyo Transit Job Exploration Team", aims to spark children's curiosity about public transportation careers. Throughout this engaging program, kids will learn about both the underground subway system and city buses directly from the professionals keeping them running.
What to Expect
The adventure includes two main courses. The
Subway Course allows participants to use a subway driving simulator, while the
Bus Course offers a chance to try out bus driving and maintenance tasks at an actual bus depot. This is the first time bus experiences have been available for elementary school students, making it an exciting new addition for families.
Participating children will receive a special
"Investigation Report" sheet to document their learning experiences. This unique opportunity not only provides interactive learning but also serves as a fine theme for their summer vacation projects.
