Geely Farizon SV 2027 Model Makes Debut at Rungis for Real-World Testing
The Launch of Geely Farizon SV 2027 Model in Rungis
On October 28, 2026, Geely Farizon unveiled its 2027 model of the Farizon SV at the Marché International de Rungis, a significant global wholesale market for fresh produce, located in the suburbs of Paris. This premiere not only introduces the latest vehicle model but also emphasizes its performance under genuine delivery conditions.
Rungis is renowned for its critical role in last-mile delivery across Europe, characterized by dense routes with multiple stops and strict schedules involving frequent starts and stops. The introduction of the Farizon SV aims to provide measurable operational advantages for fleets and independent operators alike, aligning with the brand’s commitment to offering benefits for business operations.
The Farizon SV is designed on the foundation of four key pillars: transporting capacity, efficiency, safety, and comfort. The 2027 updates specifically address the practical challenges fleet operators face in daily operations, enhancing vehicle availability and productivity. Built on a purely electric platform called GXA-M, developed by Farizon specifically for this vehicle type, it boasts a modular chassis allowing flexible customization for various applications. The vehicle offers a cargo space of 13 cubic meters and an impressive combined range of up to 384 kilometers based on WLTP methodology.
Additionally, a new battery from CATL supports DC fast charging at a power equivalent to 2C multiples, which means charging the battery from 20% to 80% in just 18 minutes. An all-wheel-drive version ensures better traction on wet roads, inclines, and unpaved surfaces, making it an ideal choice for transporting fresh produce and supplies during the fluctuating conditions of European autumn and winter.
Before its official launch, local operators in Rungis tested the 2027 Farizon SV model throughout full work shifts. They simulated delivery routes with multiple stops and charging during shifts. One operator highlighted that, "The SV’s cargo area fits perfectly for transporting crates of fruits and vegetables, and its low loading height facilitates repetitive handling of the cargo. Quick charging fits within our lunch breaks, allowing us to recharge the battery without disrupting delivery schedules. In our intensive operations, this is a practical vehicle."
This event represents a significant milestone for the Farizon range of light commercial vehicles in the European market. The SV model lineup will expand to include Combi and Minibus variants aimed at transporting refrigerated goods, custom adaptations, and shuttle services for passengers. The launch event also featured a static display of the vehicles, showcasing various modifications and on-site test drives to demonstrate the vehicle's maneuverability in urban environments.
The upgraded Farizon SV for the 2027 model year is designed with the needs of operators in mind, making it a robust electric light commercial vehicle ready for daily work deployments. It brings European fleet operators closer to fulfilling the brand’s promise of "More for Business".
