Geely Farizon Unveils 2027 Model SV in France to Revolutionize Delivery Services
Geely Farizon's 2027 Model SV Premieres in France
Geely Farizon has officially launched its highly anticipated 2027 Model SV at the prestigious Marché International de Rungis, the world's leading wholesale market known for its fresh food trade. This event marks a significant milestone for the brand, aligning with its operational strategy aimed at enhancing logistics capabilities in highly demanding environments. Rungis is recognized for its complex delivery requirements, including adherence to tight schedules and management of multiple delivery points, making it an ideal testing ground for such innovations.
The Farizon SV, which debuted in the French market in April 2026, has been carefully designed with four main pillars in mind: payload capacity, efficiency, safety, and comfort. The updates incorporated into the 2027 model directly address real-world challenges faced in fleet operations, thereby enhancing availability and efficiency. Built on the GXA-M platform, which was specifically developed by Farizon for electric vehicles, the SV comes equipped with a modular chassis that allows for various body configurations.
With a cargo space of 13 cubic meters and a range of up to 384 km on the WLTP mixed cycle, the new model demonstrates significant operational benefits. Its advanced CATL battery supports DC fast charging at a rate of 2C, capable of charging from 20% to 80% in just 18 minutes. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive version of the vehicle offers improved traction on wet surfaces, climbs, and unpaved roads. This feature is particularly advantageous for the transportation of fresh produce and supplies during periods of heavy rainfall across Europe.
Prior to its launch, local logistics operators in Rungis tested the 2027 Farizon SV extensively, simulating routes that required numerous delivery points and battery recharging during shifts. One operator remarked, “The cargo space of the SV model is perfect for transporting boxes of vegetables and fruits. The low loading threshold significantly eases the workload and reduces effort related to frequent loading and unloading. We can recharge the battery during our lunch break without disrupting our delivery schedule. It's a practical vehicle that excels in our intense daily operations.”
A crucial next step in the expansion of Farizon’s range of light commercial vehicles in Europe is the introduction of Combi and Minibus versions of the SV model. These are designed for refrigerated transportation, specialized bodies, and shuttle passenger services. During the unveiling event, static displays showcased vehicles with specific body configurations, and trial rides were organized to demonstrate the model's maneuverability in urban conditions.
The updated 2027 Farizon SV, crafted with the needs of operators in mind, stands as a robust electric light commercial vehicle ready for everyday intensive use. It fulfills the promise encapsulated in the slogan “More for Business” aimed at European fleet operators. As the logistics landscape continues to evolve, Geely Farizon is positioning itself at the forefront of the transformation, ensuring its vehicles meet not just today’s demands, but also future challenges in the transport sector.
