A Luxurious Afternoon Tea Experience in Osaka

Starting from June 28, 2026, DEAN & DELUCA Osaka Market Table, managed by Welcome Co., Ltd., is set to launch a special afternoon tea experience that promises a feast for the senses. Guests can immerse themselves in an array of delightful sweets supervised by the renowned patisserie unit, Tangentes, alongside the classic bakery and deli offerings popular at DEAN & DELUCA.

A Creative Collaboration

The Tangentes unit, consisting of Chef Yuichi Goto from Equal and Chef Kazuhiro Nakamura from Think, merges artisan skills and creativity to craft unique desserts. Their latest creation for the afternoon tea is the star of the show, the Strawberry Eton Mess. This delightful glass dessert showcases the perfect balance of fresh strawberries, airy meringue, rich whipped cream, and refreshing vanilla ice cream, embodying a quintessential British treat.

In addition to the Strawberry Eton Mess, guests can also enjoy a variety of tantalizing sweets such as the zesty Tarte Citron and the sweet and tangy Berry Cream Puffs, making this afternoon tea set a royal affair.

A Sumptuous Selection

The afternoon tea set, priced at 4,400 JPY (including tax) per person, includes not only sweets but also a selection of savory delicacies. Guests will be treated to classic options such as Quiche Lorraine, Shrimp Croissant Sandwiches, and today’s deli offering. The handcrafted American pastries and scones, baked to perfection by skilled bakers, add a comforting touch to the experience. Guests can indulge in their scones served with pistachio cream, strawberry jam, and clotted cream, ensuring a delightful combination of flavors.

Drinks to Perfect the Experience

The FREE DRINK MENU offers a range of beverages including DEAN & DELUCA blend tea, Earl Grey, ice teas (straight, milk, lemon), herbal teas (Elderflower & Chamomile, Rooibos & Rose), and house blend coffee. Additionally, guests can also order sparkling wine at an extra charge of 770 JPY (including tax) to elevate their tea time.
