Huawei's 7th Global Summit: Building a Sustainable Energy Future Together

Huawei's 7th Global Summit: Pioneering Sustainable Energy Solutions

From October 21 to 23, 2026, Huawei hosted its 7th Global Summit, uniting more than 1,000 partners and companies from 54 countries. This event focused on strategies, products, and innovations in the energy sector—aiming to forge a pathway toward a more sustainable future powered by green energy.

At the summit, Huawei's Digital Power division showcased a comprehensive strategy for installation firms, unveiling the groundbreaking LUTERRA™ S2 system. This pioneering all-in-one solution, based entirely on silicon carbide (SiC) technology, exemplifies Huawei’s commitment to low-carbon energy production, electric mobility, and versatile intelligence. By integrating renewable energy systems with advanced AI technologies, Huawei aims to ensure safer mobility through complete electrification, significantly enhancing energy yield.

With over 4.3 million homeowners supported worldwide, Huawei is dedicated to simplifying the installation processes within the energy sector. The LUTERRA S2 system is designed for maximum efficiency and user-friendliness, featuring full wireless communication and a single stock-keeping unit (SKU) that reduces logistical and storage expenses. It allows installations to be completed in under ten minutes, increases usable capacity by 10%, and enhances total energy yield by a remarkable 43% throughout its lifecycle. By addressing complex installation challenges, Huawei empowers installation firms to effectively serve customers and build resilient businesses.

A highlight of the event was the inaugural global installation competition organized by Huawei FusionSolar, involving 48 teams from 36 nations. Participants tested the unmatched efficiency of the LUTERRA S2 system firsthand. The Spanish team emerged victorious, completing the challenge in a startling 2 minutes and 32 seconds—a true testament to the product's revolutionary installation speed.

Additionally, several representatives from installation companies shared inspiring success stories during the summit. A French firm illustrated its transition from traditional sales models to a subscription-based platform that connects homeowners, installers, banks, and utility operators. Three Thai representatives discussed the integration of photovoltaics, energy storage systems (ESS), chargers, and green financing, advocating for a shift from individual products to comprehensive smart home ecosystems. A Mexican installation company highlighted its approaches to overcoming industrial energy challenges through regulatory compliance and collaboration, while a Brazilian firm demonstrated reliability by installing Huawei’s first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in their factory before rolling it out to clients.

While the summit served as an industry gathering, it also functioned as a strategic assembly of global partners unified by shared visions for sustainable development. Looking ahead, Huawei intends to collaborate further with installers—driving green transformation through ongoing technological innovation and ecosystem development.

Excitingly, the LUTERRA S2 system will debut in Europe this November, followed by a launch in the Asia-Pacific region in December. Stay tuned for more information as Huawei continues to lead the charge towards a greener future.
