Huawei's 7th Global Installer Summit: Aiming for a Greener Future

From October 21 to 23, 2026, the 7th Global Installer Summit hosted by Huawei brought together over 1,000 partners and installers from 54 countries. This prestigious event was focused on discussing strategies, exploring new products, and understanding trends in the powering industry, while paving a future for sustainable energy practices.

During the summit, Huawei Digital Power unveiled its comprehensive strategies aimed at installers, introducing an innovative product that reinforces its commitment towards low-carbon generation, mobility electrification, and intelligent integration. The company is championing renewable energy through technologies that stabilize the grid and artificial intelligence, enhancing safe mobility via full electrification, and maximizing energy efficiency.

Having provided solutions to more than 4.3 million homes globally, Huawei aims to optimize installer experiences by streamlining installation processes and ensuring dependable support through strategic services that tackle technical challenges. A key highlight of the event was the launch of the LUTERRA™ S2, recognized as the first all-in-one system in the industry entirely based on SiC (silicon carbide) technology. Designed for ultimate efficiency and user-friendliness, it features complete wireless communication, a single product model that minimizes logistical and storage costs, as well as an installation time under 10 minutes. Various enhancements lead to an additional 10% usable capacity and a remarkable 43% increase in energy generation over its lifespan. By alleviating technical complexities, Huawei empowers installers to offer superior services to their clients, thus fostering sustainable business growth.

As a grand finale of the summit, Huawei FusionSolar organized its inaugural global installation competition, with 48 teams from 36 countries participating. Contestants were able to personally experience the unmatched efficiency of the LUTERRA S2; the winning team from Spain completed the installation in a record-breaking time of 2 minutes and 32 seconds, underscoring a new benchmark in assembly speed within the industry. Moreover, six representatives from installers worldwide shared their inspiring success stories, showcasing varied approaches to industry challenges. A French installer discussed their shift from traditional reselling models to a subscription-based platform that connects homeowners, installers, banks, and grid operators. Three representatives from Thailand focused on integrating photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage systems (ESS), chargers, and green financing, transitioning from isolated product offerings to creating smart home ecosystems. A Mexican installer elaborated on benchmark practices that address energy challenges in the industrial sector through compliance and collaboration. Additionally, a Brazilian installer demonstrated reliability by installing Huawei's first energy storage system (BESS) in their own facilities before offering it to customers.

More than simply an industry event, the summit served as a strategic gathering for installer partners to align their visions collaboratively, defining a cohesive roadmap towards sustainable development. Looking ahead, Huawei is committed to working alongside installers, driven by technological innovation and collaborative ecosystem building to advance global ecological transitions.
