Shanghai Electric Secures First International Gas Turbine Order in Malaysia

This comprehensive control over the supply chain allows the company to manage the entire lifecycle of the project—from equipment manufacturing and system integration to decades-long operational support. Currently, the industrial gas turbines offered by Shanghai Electric include two primary models with rated capacities of 300 MW and 78 MW, respectively. To date, the company has delivered 103 units, with the total installed capacity from commissioned projects exceeding 21,000 MW. Moreover, installations serviced under Shanghai Electric's long-term service and maintenance programs have accumulated more than 1.3 million operational hours.

Given its robust production capabilities for these turbine categories, Shanghai Electric is poised to deliver new units as early as 2028.
