Harman International Extends Warranty on Products

Harman International, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, announces an exciting update for customers purchasing JBL, Harman Kardon, and AKG products. Starting from April 15, 2025, customers who buy these items and register their products on the official website will benefit from an extended manufacturer warranty of two years, doubling the standard one-year coverage.

How to Register Your Product

To take advantage of this warranty extension, product registration is necessary. Here’s how to do it:
1. Create an account on the official website (https://jp.jbl.com/). If you’ve already registered, proceed to the next step.
2. Log in to your account and click on ‘Product Support’ found under the ‘Support’ section at the page's bottom.
3. Click on ‘Product Registration’ and fill in the required details about your purchased product, including the purchase date, store name, and the amount shown on your receipt. Be sure to upload your proof of purchase.
4. Complete your registration.

It’s important to note that this registration is free of charge. The two-year warranty applies only to products whose standard warranty is one year, and registration is valid for purchases made through the official website or authorized retailers. Promotional Campaign

In addition to the warranty extension, Harman International will hold a promotional campaign from April 15, 2026, to June 30, 2026. Here are the details:

• - Eligibility: Customers who register their products during the promotion period.
• - Prizes:

- Prize A (5 winners): A ¥20,000 Visa e-gift card featuring the JBL logo and a coupon for up to 30% off on the JBL official website.
- Prize B (25 winners): JBL original eco-bag (not for sale) and a coupon for up to 30% off on the JBL website.

Important Notes

First-time users of the website will need to register as a new member. Please refer to the product registration instructions above.
The Visa e-gift card has an expiration date, and any remaining balance will expire when it reaches that date. It is also a non-reloadable card.
For payments made with the Visa e-gift card at overseas stores or websites in foreign currencies, a fee of 5.09% will be added to the prevailing exchange rate.
Coupons applicable to the JBL official site must be used by July 31, 2026. Certain products may not be eligible for discounts.
