THE WHY HOW DO COMPANY Supports NAMIFES 2025
THE WHY HOW DO COMPANY (also known as WAIHAU), headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming NAMIFES 2025. This music festival will take place on August 23, 2025, at the special stage on Katase Higashihama Beach in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, and will be presented by JAM WARNING in collaboration with the Naniwa Cultural Channel.
Background and Objectives of the Sponsorship
The sponsorship is part of WAIHAU’s strategic initiative to expand marketing strategies across various sectors, particularly in the realm of entertainment. The decision was made with the following marketing strategies in mind:
1.
Cross-Promotion Strategy: Collaborating with our subsidiary, Shibuya Meat Alley, to create a mutual customer acquisition effect between the "Meat Beach BBQ" in Yuigahama Beach and the Enoshima area, aiming for increased brand awareness throughout the Shonan region through community-oriented marketing.
2.
Experience Value Branding through Music and Food: Developing a novel customer experience model that combines music with food, promoting the Meat Beach BBQ to festival attendees to present a lifestyle that connects urban and seaside experiences.
3.
Enhancing Engagement with Generation Z: Maximizing brand exposure opportunities for younger audiences within the music festival environment, promoting organically generated content by Gen Z users on social media, and establishing new marketing methodologies blending Shibuya and Shonan cultures.
4.
Cultural Fusion Marketing Strategy: Building a cultural bridge between Kansai and Kanto regions through collaboration with the Naniwa Cultural Channel, merging Osaka's reggae music culture with the seaside culture of Shonan, and creating new experience values to form a nationwide fan community.
5.
Seasonal Marketing Deployment: Leveraging the rarity of summer events for promotional effectiveness, utilizing event-linked campaigns for concentrated short-term brand recognition and engagement enhancement.
