Loft Co., Ltd. is set to unveil the latest addition to its chain, the Goshogawara Loft, on May 2, 2025, located on the first floor of ELM, a renowned shopping center in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture. This grand opening marks a significant return to the prefecture, as Loft has previously operated two stores, Loft Aomori and Loft Hirosaki, both of which are slated to close in 2024 due to the shutdown of the Ito-Yokado stores. This opening will cater to the local community's needs after a hiatus of about six months.

The Goshogawara Loft enjoys a prime location, situated only 1.8 kilometers from JR Goshogawara Station and a mere 2.2 kilometers from the Tsugaru Expressway Goshogawara Interchange. It serves an expansive trade area that stretches from Aomori City in the east to Hirosaki City and Odate City in Akita Prefecture to the south. The shopping center attracts a bustling customer base with a population of about 750,000 and approximately 320,000 households. Annually, it welcomes over 8 million visitors, making it a prominent retail hub.

Spanning approximately 245 tsubo (about 810 square meters), the Goshogawara Loft will be among the most extensively formatted standard stores by Loft. The layout is designed to ensure easy navigation across a single floor. The diverse array of products is categorized into four main domains: stationery and miscellaneous goods (over 9,300 items), health and wellness products (approximately 6,000 items), variety items (around 2,900 items), and lifestyle essentials (around 1,300 items), encompassing both trendy and classic offerings to appeal to various customer preferences.

Exciting Opening Campaign and Specials


To celebrate its grand opening, Goshogawara Loft will host an opening campaign that will feature exclusive promotional offers. Beginning on May 2, customers who spend over 2,500 yen (tax-inclusive) will receive a limited-edition Loft original tote bag, available to the first 2,000 customers.
