EICMA 2025 Kicks Off in Milan

The hustle and bustle of the motorcycle industry converged today in Milan as the 82nd edition of the EICMA, the International Two-wheeler Exhibition, opened its doors. Celebrated for its robust history in showcasing the evolution of motorcycling, this year’s event is particularly significant as it marks a triumphant return to Milan, a city long recognized as the global capital of motorcycling.

Minister of Economy and Finance, Giancarlo Giorgetti, officially inaugurated the exhibition, which will run until November 9 at the Fiera Milano Rho. The event has drawn participation from over 730 exhibitors hailing from 50 different countries, presenting more than 2,000 brands. This immense representation cements EICMA's position as the preeminent authority in the motorcycle sector and its associated mobility infrastructure.

The theme for this edition, "EICMA, That’s Amore," resonates deeply with the passion for two-wheeled vehicles shared among manufacturers and enthusiasts alike. The opening ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Pietro Meda, the President of EICMA, Paolo Magri, the CEO, and various other dignitaries. This significant assembly underscored the importance of the event in the industry landscape, fostering connections among corporations and labor representatives.

For the initial two days, EICMA will welcome press and industry professionals, providing them with insights into emerging trends and innovations. From November 6-9, the exhibition will open to the general public, offering attendees a rich multimedia experience featuring world premieres, advanced technologies, competitions, live performances, and specialized content, such as a test area focused on urban transport solutions and an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Dakar Rally.

Italy incessantly showcases its prowess in the motorcycle sector, boasting that 30% of all exhibitors at EICMA represent the Italian market. By celebrating its heritage and innovations, Italy accentuates its leadership in European motorcycle production. Additionally, EICMA 2025 expands its global reach by featuring exhibitors from ten new countries, including Estonia, Georgia, Ireland, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and the United Arab Emirates, further highlighting its universal appeal.

The EICMA venue spans nine pavilions at Fiera Milano Rho, complemented by the MotoLive outdoor section that commemorates 20 successful years with an astonishing 60,000 square meters of space. This expanded area underscores the fair’s evolution into a comprehensive platform that blends business with entertainment, innovation, and shared enthusiasm for motorcycle culture.

Thus, with its formal launch, EICMA 2025 not only reestablishes Milan as the definitive hub for two-wheeled activity but also continues a glorious tradition of mobility that invites optimism for the future. This year's exhibition promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees and to set the stage for further developments in the motorcycle industry.
