Exciting News from Hakone Soba: Meet the Light Soba Series

Starting June 1, 2025, Hakone Soba will introduce a new lineup of four delightful light soba dishes, known as the Light Four Brothers – perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying meal without overdoing it. This new range includes fan favorites as well as exciting new additions.

The Light Soba Series was designed with a focus on both affordability and portion control, aiming to provide customers with satisfying options for various occasions. Whether it's a midday snack or a light bite after a gathering, these light soba offerings are sure to hit the spot. Here’s what customers can expect starting June 1st:

1. Kakiage Tempura Soba Light - Priced at 400 JPY
- A delightful combination of crispy kakiage tempura with your choice of warm or cold soba or udon noodles.

2. Ebi Tempura Soba Light - Priced at 450 JPY
- Featuring succulent shrimp tempura, this dish continues to be a customer favorite available in soba or udon, hot or cold.

3. Negi Soba Light - New addition at 400 JPY
- A fresh, healthy option highlighting green onions, also available in both warm and chilled forms.

4. Wakame Soba Light - New addition at 400 JPY
- This nutritious offering includes seaweed, providing a unique twist to the classic soba experience.

These new dishes were developed following a successful trial period. The Kakiage Tempura Soba Light was first introduced in March and received excellent feedback, leading to the addition of the Negi and Wakame variants after their respective launches.
