Nevada King Gold Corp. Unveils Promising Drill Results

Nevada King Gold Corp. (TSXV: NKG) (OTCQX: NKGFF), a prominent player in the mining sector, recently announced promising drill results from its exploration activities at the East Ridge and Silver Park targets. This news is particularly significant for the industry, as it suggests considerable potential for gold mineralization in these areas.

The drill results stem from a Rotary Air Blast (RAB) reconnaissance exploration program conducted at the East Ridge Target, located immediately east of the Atlanta pit within the company’s 100% owned Atlanta Gold Mine Project in eastern Nevada, covering an area of 130 km². This dual-purpose drilling aims to not only increase the resource ounces but also to identify mineralization in what could otherwise be categorized as waste rock in future resource pit models.

Additionally, exploratory efforts at the Silver Park Target, approximately 2 km west of the Atlanta pit, have proven fruitful in uncovering near-surface oxide mineralization. This consistent identification of valuable minerals reinforces the area's resource potential.

Drilling Highlights

Nevada King’s RAB drilling has revealed noteworthy findings, notably:

  • - Hole AT26ERB-70: Intersected 2.58 g/t Au over a length of 29.3 meters, starting from the surface and concluding in mineralization.
  • - Hole AT26ERB-63: Found 1.04 g/t Au over 26.8 meters, also beginning at the surface.
  • - Hole AT26ERB-62: Reported 0.47 g/t Au over 29.3 meters from the surface down as well.

For Silver Park targets:
  • - Hole AT26SPB-78: Showcased 0.46 g/t Au over 14.6 meters starting from a depth of 14.6 meters, concluding in mineralization.
  • - Hole AT26SPB-85: Recorded 0.30 g/t Au over an interval of 17.1 meters from a depth of 12.2 meters and bottoming in mineralization.

Justin Daley, VP of Exploration for Nevada King, expressed his enthusiasm about these findings, particularly Hole AT26ERB-70's significant intercept. He noted, “This is our best RAB intercept at East Ridge on a grade-thickness basis,” underscoring the importance of this result which is located directly east of the Atlanta pit. He emphasized that such results, not immediately visible through surface mapping and sampling, demonstrate the area’s mineralization potential.

The ongoing RAB drilling effort is part of a broader Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program covering 40,000 meters. This approach serves as an efficient method to test mineral potential within 30 meters of the surface. Given the depth limitations of RAB drilling, any reported intervals that conclude in mineralization reflect the maximum possible extent that could be reached with this method. Future deeper RC drilling will aim to assess the continuity of mineralization vertically and laterally.

Methodology and Assurance

The company adheres to stringent QA/QC protocols during its exploration projects. RAB samples are prepared on-site and delivered to American Assay Lab in Reno, Nevada, for comprehensive assay analysis. The preparation processes ensure precise and reliable results, which are critical to the advancement and determination of resource potential.

The Bigger Picture

Nevada King Gold Corp. focuses on expanding and developing its Atlanta Gold Mine Project, which currently boasts a compliant oxide resource of about 1,020,000 ounces of gold in the measured and indicated category. As the company continues its exploration and drilling efforts, stakeholders and investors are increasingly attentive to how these developments might impact resource estimates and potential production timelines.

In summary, the recent drilling results from Nevada King Gold Corp. highlight an exciting prospect for gold mineralization at both the East Ridge and Silver Park targets. Continued exploration, including deeper drilling, is anticipated to yield further information that may significantly enhance the company’s resource base.
