This project aims to elevate the interaction between the brand and its users, creating more engaging points of contact and enhancing brand recognition.

Over recent years, the landscape of fan communication has shifted from unidirectional information dissemination to participation-oriented and co-created content. Notably, the rise of Augmented Reality (AR) technology has enabled users to easily interact and play with beloved characters. Bear-kun, the official character of Apaman Shop, has gained considerable popularity among Gen Z and family demographics through creative collaborative posts on social media.

Project Background

With this project, we aim to deepen the relationship between Bear-kun and fans by offering interactions that allow users to 'meet,' 'celebrate,' and 'share' digital experiences together. The initiative not only seeks to amplify brand awareness but also encourages sustained engagement with fans through user-generated content (UGC), leading to self-driven brand expansion and drawing traffic to real-world stores and services.

How to Participate:

1. Follow Apaman Shop's official social media accounts (Instagram/X/Facebook).
2. Capture photos of Bear-kun using AR based on the weekly theme.
3. Post your photos with the hashtag ‘#Bear-kunARExperience’.

Announcement of Winners:

Every Tuesday, one lucky winner will be contacted via DM and have their work featured on the Bear-kun special site photo library.

Prizes:

Receive a thank-you gift from Bear-kun, with contents changing weekly.

First Photo Contest: Try Taking a Photo with Bear-kun

Theme: Try Taking a Photo for the First Time
Duration: June 10, 2025 (Tuesday) to June 16, 2025 (Wednesday)

- Entries from private accounts will be disqualified.
- Personal information of winners will only be used for prize delivery.

- AR experiences require a smartphone and an internet connection; participants are responsible for their communication fees.
- Faces do not need to be shown in posted photos; character expression and scenery are welcomed.
- This campaign may change or be canceled without notice.
- One participant will receive the 'Thank You Prize' from Bear-kun each week, with DM notification.
- If we receive no response within three days after sending the DM, the selection may be voided.
- Prize contents may be subject to change and delivery is limited to Japan.
