Epics DAO Reveals Full Card List for 'Buidlers Guild' NFT Game on Solana

Epics DAO Unveils Complete Card List for 'Buidlers Guild'

Epics DAO, based in Amsterdam and led by CEO Fumitake Kawasaki, has announced the full card list for the Alpha pack of its NFT card game, 'Buidlers Guild', which operates on the Solana blockchain. This highly anticipated announcement includes a diverse range of card types that players can expect to utilize in their gameplay.

Overview of the Alpha Card List

The recently published card list encompasses all card types—neutral cards, multi-attribute cards, and SSR (Super Super Rare) cards. Players can now view every card included in the Alpha pack grouped into three key categories: Magic, Equipments & Artifacts, and Monsters. This comprehensive list provides players with a clear understanding of the total card structure available in 'Buidlers Guild' Alpha, allowing them to strategize and build innovative decks using the complete range of cards.

You can explore the complete list along with detailed information about each card on the official card list page: Buidlers Guild NFT Card List.

Addressing Structural Challenges

Epics DAO recognizes that while open-source software is crucial for societal and technological foundations, its maintenance and continuity face inherent instability. This instability arises not from a lack of value or significance, but from the difficulty in visualizing the contributions made by various developers and maintainers. As a result, ongoing involvement and evaluation tend to become sporadic, inviting the accumulation of technical debt and administrative burdens. Consequently, the sustainability of foundational systems can be jeopardized.

Epics DAO views this issue not merely as one of individual reward design or incentives, but as a fundamental structural problem requiring a holistic approach to resolution.

Structural Approach of Buidlers Guild

The 'Buidlers Guild' is conceived as an implementation for tackling these structural challenges. In competitive card games, the functionality of the deck is reliant on a complex interplay of various types of cards—Magic spells, Ayments & Tools, and Monsters. If any one type is lacking, the deck's effectiveness is compromised. This interdependence is mirrored in the game's design, where three distinct roles—Dev, Degen, and Investor—are intentionally aligned with the card structure.

Each role has unique characteristics and motivations, but the absence of even one would disrupt the entire ecosystem. Within this framework, cards serve not only as rewards or speculative entities but as structural elements that reveal how different roles interconnect and under what conditions the whole system remains viable.

Current and Future Developments

The ongoing Epics platform is scheduled to shut down at the end of February 2026. The card list publication represents the final state of the Alpha pack available via the current platform. As the new Epics platform beckons, users must note that the minting of new Alpha pack cards will also conclude at this time, solidifying availability with no expected changes for already issued Alpha NFTs.

The Epics DAO is on track to migrate to a new platform, with plans to reveal a new application soon. This upgraded platform is expected to feature a card pack opening ceremony, enhancing player engagement.
