Wheeling Park District's Annual International Festival

The festival promises a rich tapestry of cultural expressions, featuring live performances, authentic cuisines, and interactive cultural exhibitions presented by various community entities. A standout feature of the festival will be the Travel Around the World Passport activity designed for young explorers. The first 200 children who arrive will embark on an exciting journey around the globe by visiting booths hosted by cultural and community organizations. They will learn about different countries and traditions while collecting stamps for their passports—making it both a fun and educational experience!

This annual event draws over 3,000 community members, highlighting the traditions and connections that make Wheeling a truly unique place to live. Founded in 1961, the Wheeling Park District serves more than 45,000 residents across 8.5 square miles encompassing Wheeling, Prospect Heights, Buffalo Grove, and Arlington Heights.
