LG Innotek Showcases Cutting-Edge AIDV Mobility Innovations at CES 2026

LG Innotek's Revolutionary AIDV Mobility Solutions at CES 2026

As we step into a new era of mobility, LG Innotek is prepared to showcase its latest innovations at CES 2026, held in Las Vegas. The event, beginning January 6, serves as a platform for the company to introduce its forward-thinking solutions in autonomous driving and electric vehicles (EVs).

A Vision of the Future

LG Innotek's exhibition features a booth spanning approximately 330.58 square meters, strategically positioned at the entrance of the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year, the company continues its exclusive focus on mobility, building on the success of their previous presentations. Upon entering their booth, attendees will first encounter a futuristic autonomous vehicle mock-up, demonstrating a total of 16 innovative products linked to Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

This year's display reflects LG Innotek's evolution from a manufacturer of automotive electronic components to a comprehensive mobility solutions provider. Rather than providing a mere list of components, the company presents an integrated software solution approach categorized by themes, emphasizing a more customer-centric methodology.

Flagship Products Highlighted

One of the standout features of the mock-up is LG Innotek's 'Autonomous Driving Convergence Sensing Solutions'. This includes cutting-edge vehicle camera modules that seamlessly integrate with LiDAR and Radar technologies for enhanced functionality. Among these, the Heated Camera Module quickly melts snow or frost, and the Active Cleaning Camera Module removes debris and water from the lens in just one second—all thanks to LG Innotek's proprietary software, providing improved performance in challenging weather conditions.

Additionally, the ultra-compact LiDAR, co-developed with Aeva, makes its highly anticipated debut, capable of detecting objects up to 650 feet (200 meters) away, significantly enhancing the vehicle's situational awareness—an aspect often limited by traditional camera systems.

Visitors to the booth will have the unique opportunity to experience the autonomous vehicle mock-up first-hand. They can sit in the driver's seat and engage with a comprehensive display powered by innovative front-mounted sensing solutions.

Immersive User Experience

The test drive experience not only highlights LG Innotek's advanced technology but also introduces attendees to their In-Cabin Solutions. Noteworthy is the Next-Generation Under-Display Camera Module—concealed behind the vehicle's dashboard, it utilizes LG Innotek’s AI image restoration software to perform precise facial recognition without sacrificing image quality. The dual recording function invites users to capture vlogs while on the go.

LG Innotek's in-cabin technology also includes the UWB (Ultra-WideBand) Radar, facilitating Child Presence Detection (CPD) and a Kick Sensor for seamless trunk operation. Coupled with innovative vehicle lighting solutions, such as the CES 2026 Innovation Award-winning 'Ultra-Thin Pixel Lighting Modules', this exhibition sets a new standard for in-car experiences. These modules not only illuminate various vehicle areas but also offer high-resolution pixel rendering, allowing for precise displays of letters and patterns, as well as increased design flexibility with reduced risks of pedestrian injuries in case of collisions.

Connectivity Redefined

LG Innotek has not overlooked connectivity either, demonstrating a 5G NTN Module designed for blind-spot satellite communication alongside a Vehicular AP Module serving as the 'brain' of the AI-Defined Vehicle. A UWB Digital Key enhances this further by incorporating ultra-precise communication technology for improved safety and user convenience.

Additionally, the EV mock-up takes center stage, showcasing 15 integrated solutions including the industry's first 800V Wireless Battery Management System (BMS). This significant innovation allows for more efficient and lightweight battery pack production, addressing the complexities in EV architecture and enhancing overall motor control.

Looking Ahead

CEO Moon Hyuksoo expressed optimism for the future, stating, “CES 2026 provides a pivotal opportunity to explore new business avenues in autonomous driving and EVs. We aim to position ourselves as a leading mobility innovation company, dedicated to delivering exceptional value to our customers.”
