This number is expected to exceed 200,000 by the end of this year.

By integrating autonomous driving systems directly into mass-produced vehicles during the manufacturing process, the company reduces expensive retrofitting costs. Additionally, its map-less navigation technology eliminates ongoing high-definition map license fees and maintenance costs.

The production vehicle strategy allows for rapid expansion into new cities without the lengthy preparations typically associated with map development. According to Maxwell Zhou, the CEO of DeepRoute.ai, “One of the key strengths of DeepRoute.ai's approach is that its robotaxi platform and series-produced vehicles are built on the same technological framework, enabling high consistency and seamless interoperability.” Leveraging insights gained from an expanding global fleet, DeepRoute.ai continuously refines and validates its technology across various urban environments, hastening the rollout of production-ready autonomous capabilities for mainstream markets.

The robotaxi market is poised for global growth, with particularly significant opportunities in Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
