Dr. Amber Walker Takes the Helm as Chief Growth Officer at Parry Labs

Parry Labs has announced a significant move in its leadership by appointing Dr. Amber Walker as the new Chief Growth Officer (CGO), reporting directly to CEO JD Parkes. This appointment comes at a pivotal time for the company as it aims to expand its presence across various defense sectors and enhance its strategic partnerships. Dr. Walker's expertise is expected to drive market expansion and create long-term value.

Having previously served as the Senior Vice President of Ground, Maritime, and C2 Systems, Dr. Walker played a crucial role in the strong business performance of these sectors. In 2025, her efforts were recognized as she positioned the company for further accelerated growth in the upcoming year. Dr. Walker’s extensive background in the defense industry encapsulates valuable experiences from both governmental and industrial roles. At Anduril Industries, she was instrumental in launching the Land Systems business, securing vital contracts on programs including the Army's XM-30, Robotic Combat Vehicle, and TITAN initiatives. Furthermore, during her tenure at Raytheon BBN, she led initiatives focused on autonomy, served as Principal Investigator for the DARPA EDGE program, and held leadership roles in the Network Cyber Technologies unit.

In addition to her corporate experience, Dr. Walker has a distinguished military background, serving in the U.S. Army where she was a DARPA Program Manager at the Tactical Technology Office. Currently, she holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves and recently completed a term as a subcommittee member on the Army Science Board from 2023 to 2025. Her commitment to the aerospace and defense community is further underscored by her active involvement with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
