Event Highlights
Transition from Systems to Practice
As the disclosure of human capital evolves, organizations are being challenged to demonstrate how they enhance employee value and connect this to tangible results. The discussions emphasized that human capital management now goes beyond merely designing systems or providing information; it takes a hands-on approach to harness individual skills and motivations effectively at the ground level.
Redefining Organizational Boundaries with AI
With the swift advancement of AI technology, traditional rigid organizational structures—defined by departments, positions, and seniority—are undergoing significant changes. The talk explored how AI fosters cross-departmental collaboration by bridging previously segmented information, thereby redefining the very concept of ‘organizational walls’. This transformative potential encourages a flatter and more flexible approach to teamwork.
The Rise of Individually-Driven Career Capital
In a world no longer grounded in lifetime employment, there is an urgent need for individuals to cultivate
career capital autonomously. The session underscored the importance of self-initiative in learning and acquiring experiences, correlating with the practical significance of the “Protean Career” concept. A supportive organizational culture plays a crucial role in facilitating individual growth.
Reconnecting Management and HR Around Talent Strategy
Human capital management is no longer a niche topic reserved only for HR departments; it has emerged as a central theme of organizational strategy. The discussion examined how to harmonize management and talent strategies to enhance visible corporate value, effectively linking return on investment (ROI) to human capital initiatives through real-world examples from consortium member companies.
