Announcing Guest Komori Hayate from GENERATIONS for High School Radio Contest!

Announcing High School Radio Contest with Guest Komori Hayate

The Umibunka Research Organization is excited to announce the launch of the "Deliver! Voices of the Sea - High School Radio Contest," inviting entries from high school students nationwide starting this October 2025. In an effort to pass down the rich beauty of our oceans to the next generation, this contest emphasizes the connections formed through the sea as part of the "Nippon Foundation's Sea and Japan Project."

Adding to the excitement, GENERATIONS member Hayate Komori has been confirmed as a special guest for the contest’s related program.

Hayate Komori's Exciting Message

Komori expressed his enthusiasm for engaging with students across Japan:
"I am really looking forward to hearing the voices of high school students on the theme of the sea. While the main theme is the sea, there are so many different ways to express that. The feelings I had towards the sea when I was a teenager may differ from those felt by the current generation. By voicing those intangible feelings, there will surely be opportunities to connect with others! I am eager to encounter the stories that will begin from this point!"

About Hayate Komori (GENERATIONS)

Born in 1995 and hailing from Mie Prefecture, Komori debuted as a performer in GENERATIONS in November 2012. He has made a mark not just in music but also on television and in films. Notably, he has established himself as a skilled MC, taking over as the ''Komo-vice Principal'' for TOKYO FM's "SCHOOL OF LOCK!" in April 2020 and later becoming the principal in October 2021. With his engaging conversations and approachable demeanor, he has garnered widespread support, especially among younger audiences.
