Supporting Japan's Table Tennis Team with 'Nippon no Shoku'
Starting from October 11, 2025, Japan's table tennis team will compete in the 28th ITTF-ATTU Asian Championships held in Bhubaneswar, India. JA ZEN-NOH is committed to supporting the athletes by providing them with essential Japanese food products, known as 'Nippon no Shoku'. This initiative aims to ensure that the players can perform at their best while competing overseas.
In preparation for the championship, JA ZEN-NOH is supplying the athletes with various food items that they can rely on for sustenance during the tournament. Among the offerings are packed rice, freeze-dried miso soup available on the JA Town online store, and dried fruits from the JA ZEN-NOH product brand, Nippon Ale. The previous tournament held in Kazakhstan in October 2024 saw remarkable achievements by the Japanese team. Tomokazu Harimoto from Toyota Motor Corporation claimed the men's singles title, while Miwa Harimoto from the Kinoshita Group finished as the runner-up in the women's singles category. Additionally, the women's doubles championship was won by Sayaka Ohto and Sakura Yokoi from Mikihouse, and the women's team also clinched the first place. The substantial support provided by 'Nippon no Shoku' is anticipated to empower the team for another successful performance.
