HOTWORX® Announces Successful Fundraising Campaign for Veterans Battling Breast Cancer

HOTWORX® Raises Over $63,000 for Veterans and Military Women Battling Breast Cancer

HOTWORX®, a leading name in the infrared fitness studio franchise sector, has made headlines with its recent philanthropic efforts. The company concluded its 2025 Workouts for Heroes campaign, successfully raising an impressive $63,253.42 aimed at supporting U.S. veterans and military women who are bravely battling breast cancer. This fundraising initiative was particularly notable as it combined the fitness community's collective strength to address significant health challenges faced by these deserving individuals.

The funds raised during the two-month nationwide campaign were evenly split between two worthy causes: the Sacred Mountain Retreat Center (SMRC) and the National Breast Cancer Foundation's (NBCF) Military Women's Patient Relief Fund. Each organization received $31,626.71 to help further their missions, providing crucial support for military women undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Stephen P. Smith, the Founder and CEO of HOTWORX, expressed his pride in the community's response to this cause: "These numbers represent far more than dollars raised. They reflect a multitude of generous actions from our members, franchisees, and corporate team. Workouts for Heroes continues to show what's possible when an entire fitness community comes together with purpose. We're incredibly proud to support organizations that are making real, tangible differences in the lives of veterans and military women."

The campaign was designed to not only raise funds but to also unify HOTWORX's various charitable initiatives, connecting their commitment to fitness with a cause that directly impacts the lives of many. This year, members and franchisees participated through various means, including Dedication Ribbons, limited-edition pink merchandise, and corporate matching donations, highlighting a system-wide dedication to community involvement.

The donations made to SMRC will assist in funding restorative retreats, designed to foster both physical and emotional healing for veterans and first responders. Conversely, the contributions to NBCF's Military Women's Patient Relief Fund will help alleviate essential non-medical expenses incurred during breast cancer treatment — these include costs for childcare, transportation, and lodging, supporting military women in their times of need.

In recognition of outstanding contributions, HOTWORX honored several studios across the nation that significantly contributed to the campaign's success. The Clive, Iowa (University Ave) location emerged as a premier fundraiser, joined by high-performing studios in Gonzales, Louisiana and Roswell, New Mexico. Franchise owner Katie McDonald from the Clive location stated, "Our members showed up in such a big way for this campaign. It was inspiring to see our community rally together to support veterans and military women facing incredibly difficult circumstances. This is what HOTWORX is all about — strength, compassion, and community."

The 2025 Workouts for Heroes campaign further demonstrates HOTWORX's unwavering dedication to fostering stronger communities, both within and outside their fitness studios. As they continue to pave the way for innovative approaches to fitness and community engagement, they also show what it means to stand by those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.
