A Day of Wine Immersion

The event will kick off at 1:45 PM at Hall des Lumières, starting with a masterclass that dives deep into Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, one of Italy's signature wines. The segment, led by Alison Napjus, a Senior Editor and Tasting Director at Wine Spectator, is designed for trade professionals and will offer insights into the identity and versatility of this unique wine category.

As the day progresses, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, attendees are invited to partake in a walk-around tasting session, hosted by Consorzio di Tutela Vini d'Abruzzo. This event will allow guests to engage directly with producers from the Abruzzo region, exploring the character and diversity of their wines. Wineries such as Agricola Olivia, Cantina Orsogna, and Citra will showcase their offerings, creating an intimate environment for wine lovers.

Following the tasting session, there will be an exclusive invitation-only aperitivo from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, leading into a Gala Dinner from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This event will convene media, trade professionals, and guests of the wine community to celebrate and indulge in a curated selection of Abruzzo wines alongside a gourmet meal, fostering a rich experience of cultural exchange.

A Citywide Experience

At 6:15 PM, the event opens to the public, inviting consumers to enjoy a citywide wine celebration across three distinctive venues: Hall des Lumières, New York Vintners, and the Arlo Soho Rooftop. Each venue will provide a different vibe and atmosphere, accommodating various tastes:

• - Hall des Lumières will showcase immersive videomapping installations and music while offering wine tastings in an enchanting setting.
• - New York Vintners will focus on hosted tastings and educational opportunities about featured wines and their origins.
