One month has passed since Streema, a used car trading platform developed by Eleuno Co., Ltd., has commenced operations in Laos, marking the company's first venture into Southeast Asia. In Laos, the traditional method of selling used cars involves parking vehicles on streets or sidewalks with a sign stating "For Sale" and including a phone number for contact. While this technique allows sellers to reach some potential buyers, the effectiveness is limited, as the vehicles are primarily visible only to passersby. Consequently, this can prolong the sale process and lead to potential buyers feeling frustrated due to the lack of knowledge about available vehicles.

Streema addresses these challenges head-on by leveraging location technology in its platform. Sellers can not only park their cars but also publish their vehicle information on an online map. This significantly increases the chances of attracting potential buyers, who can easily navigate and discover available cars through the app.

In addition to the map feature, Streema offers an in-app messaging function that allows buyers to instantly communicate with sellers regarding any vehicle of interest. This streamlines the negotiation process, ultimately leading to more efficient matching between buyers and sellers, reducing the time it takes to finalize transactions.
